My mother received a Canon EOS Rebel K2 for Christmas. Two days later she dropped it and broke the film door latch. I have since ordered a new latch, but I cannot figure out how to disassemble the door to replace the latch. There are 6 visible screws that I can remove, but the door will not come apart. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks |

Remove pressure plate, that will give you access to seventh screw. Be carefull not to damage the flex connector. Good luck.
