well i jsut got this camera off ebay i think my uncle got it from there. and it was working fine but then after i used the 2nd roll of film and i was trying to put it in but it wouldnt go and then the main switch just moves freely and its not supposed to i dont know what happened to it but something happened and now the advancer doesnt move except half way... can someone explain what happened and what i can do to fix it? my art teacher is going to look at it but i want to know something so maybe it will help.

The main switch assm has probably broken. There are some fixes, but generally replacing the switch base is required. IF the advance lever will only move 1/2 way, this is probably an alignment problem with the advance gears on the bottom. I have a service manual if needed and/or will consider looking at it for you. BTW, there is a metering mod that can be done to show you manual shutter speeds.

my camera acts as if the batteries are dead when they are but one day old, and i turned the camera off for the night.
help?
