The motor drive wheel on my Kodak Motormatic 35F, will not turn the takeup spool. When the large knob wheel on the bottom right side is turned, it won't stay wound up, and there is no time to release the shutter.

I took off the bottom and there is a round metal piece with what looks like a straight piece on one side and a small part on the opposite. It looks like it should fit somewhere near the circular rewind part, but I don't know. Anybody know where this piece belongs ?

Thanks
