hello,
i have a konica t that is in good shape excepfor the battery compartment had batteries in it that leaked.i was able to remove them but the springloaded negative contact is damaged and need repair,looks like the spring may have dissolved.my question is how to get to this wire?is there an easy way or do i need to remove all the parts under the lower cover?hope not.thanks

In the Konica, you have to take the entire mirror box out to remove the battery box.... probably the Konica's major design flaw, along with a weak battery terminal that makes the job necessary more often than in some other cameas. This is a major disassembly, but not imossible. Email me if you'd like some sketches to help.
