i have stripped my trip down to the bone but can't fathom out how to dissmantle the lens,
i am trying to remove a bad ding on the filter ring and if possible tighten things up as everything has a wobble,
thanks in advance,Keith.

It's been some time since I did one but you start by setting the focus at infinity and loosening the three small radial grub screws around the ring between front element and the light sensor. Slide out that ring (the long tabs engage the focussing ring and cause the front element to turn with the focus ring). Unscrew the front element, carefully counting the turns. You will see more small axial screws and for each set of them you remove you should be able to lift out another part. There are some small detent balls between parts, easy to lose.
