I bought a brand new LC-A and shot maybe 5-6 rolls with it and then a whole roll came out blank. The shutter twitches when I press the button, but does not open. Is there an easy remedy for this? A lot of repair shops here (Boston, MA) won't touch it.

Two of mine behave in the same way, I found the shutter blades are plastic and simply packed up, and because a lack of spares a repair is not possible.

How I fixed mine: I held it about 3 feet off the ground and dropped it onto carpeted floor so it fell on it's back. I've shot about 20 rolls before mine started acting up. Lomo takes interesting shots but poorly made. I won't buy another one if mine permanently fails. I hear the Oly XA/XA2 can take similar fotos but build better. Is this the guost from deviant art? nice gallery.
