Panoramic Wonders

Kamakura is a little coastal village in Japan about 1 hour train ride away from Tokyo. This town is known for the many shrines/temples and the infamous Big Buddha. Of all the days in Tokyo, the weather has been pretty much like this, gloomy and rainy.

I've always been fascinated and interested in national parks and seeing what nature has created. This is my first time visiting Bryce Canyon so I didn't know what to expect. Before driving to the viewpoints, we took a relatively short (which we thought) hiking trail which almost sucked the energy out of all of us. Luckily there was a bottle of Gatorade in the car, we then drove to the remaining viewpoints. I'd like to return someday and catch the sunrise and sunset.

Living in the middle of a big city has its goods and bads. The good part is that everything is right at your fingertips, a couple of blocks and there are shops and restaurants. The bad part is probably the crowdedness whether it's referring to cars or people. If I've never lived in a big city, I'd like to try it at least once in my lifetime.

I can't remember how many times I've been up to The Peak looking down at Hong Kong's night view. The most amazing thing is that each time I look at this view, something new is added. From the last time to now, the dramatic difference is perhaps the addition of the new 88-story IFC building (picture: the tallest building on the left with the glowing white top), tallest in Hong Kong. Maybe a year or two later we'll see another tallest building.

Technical note
All of the panoramic images were taken with the C-5050 (C-4040 for "Looking out the window") digital camera. Each panorama consists of 3-4 images and manually stitched using Photoshop.
